Moderated: Schedule time with a moderator for a conversation
Unmoderated: on your own time you will record your screen and voice as you walk through tasks
Unmoderated test
You'll receive an invite to complete an unmoderated study. An unmoderated study means you'll be reviewing a website or a prototype while speaking your thoughts out loud recording your screen or voice.
Click on the invitation in your email (This could either be from PlaybookUX or from a Researcher conducting the study)

Before taking a study make sure you read the instructions on how to successfully complete a study.
Sometimes there will be screener questions. Make sure to complete the screener questions (if there are any) to see if you qualify.
Read and follow the instructions on how to download the screen recorder carefully.
Copy and paste the link in step 2 into the screen recorder app you downloaded in step 1. Once you've pasted the correct link, click the button "Launch Test"
Check your system's microphone to make sure it's working and ready. Since we will be recording your screen and voice during the study you must give permission to record your screen and voice.
That's it! You're ready to take the test!
What happens when I reach the end of the test?
You should see the upload screen. The screen confirms if your video was uploaded and saved or not.
Moderated test
You'll schedule time to join a conversation with a moderator.
Open the invitation sent to your email from PlaybookUX
Click on the link in the email and select a time to join the interview.
Confirm the best time(s) for you by clicking the "Confirm" button at the bottom of the scheduling page.
Fill out your information and click "confirm" again.
That's it. You will be emailed a copy of your invite. Be sure to check your spam to make sure you don't miss it!
