Unmoderated studies allow participants to give feedback on their own time without a researcher present. Participants will review your website or prototype while they are speaking their thoughts out loud and recording their screen.

Here's a step-by- step instruction on how to conduct a simple unmoderated test.

  • Create a new project by clicking the "Create Project" button on the top right of your screen.

  • Create a new unmoderated project by selecting the "create" button under unmoderated.

  • Fill out the details of your project and click "Next".

  • Preview your study by clicking the "Preview My Study" button at the bottom of the page.

  • View a summary of your study. For, Unmoderated studies using PlaybookUX's panel, this is where you pay as well. More information on our pricing options

  • Once you've submitted your project, PlaybookUX will automatically recruit participants that will take your test. You'll receive an email once the first participant has taken the study.

  • For Unmoderated BYOP studies, a link will be automatically generated and you can share that link with your own participants.

  • That's it! Your study should now be "In Progress". Go to your workspace to see the status of your project.

Next, you'll start analyzing the participants videos!
